Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA)
We assist our clients to get their projects planned, built and operated on schedule, while meeting their own expectations for management of environmental impacts on the local surrounding which includes social and cultural resources through establishment of an EIA report. This report outlines assessment of possible positive or negative impacts that a proposed project may have on the environment, consisting of the environmental, social, economic and risk aspects of the project.

Environmental Management Plan (EMP)
An EMP is a site-specific plan developed to ensure that all necessary measures are identified, implemented and audited in order to protect the environment. We assist our clients to comply with environmental legislation and approval conditions stipulated by the Department of Environment (DOE). We also support the environmental monitoring requirements under this EMP program.

Erosion and Sediment Control Plan (ESCP)
ESCP are measures which is conducted to reduce the amount of soil particles that are carried off that may be deposited in a receiving water causing pollution. Clearing, grading or altering undisturbed land associated mainly by site construction activities will have potential impacts on water quality. We assist our clients by providing the best practical and budgetary solution for the implementation of this plan in order to meet the requirement by the DOE.

Written Notification & Written Approval
We provide the service to submit and attain the approval for Written Notification and Written Approval from the Department of Environment (DOE) for fuel burning equipment, air pollution control and chimney. These submissions are required under Environmental Quality Act, 1974 and Environmental Quality (Clean Air) Regulations, 2014, respectively.

Dioxin-Furan stack and ambient measurement.
We provide sampling and analytical services of Dioxins and Furans as part of stack and ambient regulatory monitoring requirements stipulated by the Department of Environment. Dioxins and furans are persistent environmental pollutants that have been extensively studied and shown to bioaccumulate in the environment. It has toxic effects that could cause damage to reproductive and immune systems and carcinogenic. Partnering with the largest laboratory facility in the UK with more than 30 years of experience dealing with Dioxins and Furans analysis (i.e. Marchwood Scientific Services Ltd.), we are able to analyze these compounds in low concentrations.

Destruction and Removal Efficiency (DRE) Test
We provide performance stack testing of air emissions at industrial facilities to demonstrate compliances with air emission permit requirements prior and during the operation of waste incinerator plants. DRE presents the capability of the incinerator combustion and air pollution control mechanism to destruct and remove air pollutants. The standard compliance limit is of DRE is ≥99.9999%.

Combustion Efficiency (CE) Test
We provide performance stack testing of air emissions at industrial facilities to demonstrate compliances with air emission permit requirements prior and during the operation of fuel burning equipments. Combustion efficiency is a measure of how efficiently a device consumes fuel to produce complete combustion to also minimize environmental pollution emissions. The lower the combustion efficiency, the less efficient the device is, making it expensive to run, wasteful of fuel, and harmful for the environment. AMR helps our clients to prevent these conditions from happening and operate their facilities efficiently to save operation costs and meeting with licence requirements. The typical compliance limit of CE is ≥ 99.85%.

Ambient Air Quality Monitoring
Air quality monitoring is carried out to assess the extent of pollution, ensure compliance with national legislation, evaluate control options, and provide data for air quality modeling. Most monitoring plans are designed with human health objectives in mind, and monitoring stations are therefore established in population centers (e.g. a school, hospital). Background monitoring stations are also established, to act as a "control" when determining source apportionment. Typically, the results are compared to the Malaysian Ambient Air Quality Guidelines (MAAQG) or other adopted standard.

Water Quality Monitoring
The objective of water quality monitoring which includes effluent, surface, marine and ground water, is to obtain quantitative information on the physical, chemical, and biological characteristics of water via statistical sampling. The water monitoring is conducted to determine the environmental state and analysis of temporal water quality trends. AMR is able to conduct site sampling, pollutant finger-print studies and also provide treatment recommendations. We help our clients identify any potential water quality issues and mitigate long-term risks though site-specific solutions that enables our clients to deliver their environmental and corporate social commitment.

Boundary Noise Monitoring
Boundary noise monitoring is monitored typically for construction and industrial activities that may cause nuisance to neighbouring receptors. Boundary noise monitoring at industrial sites maybe required for a combination of regulatory, environmental and community reasons. Measurement requirements can vary from short term detailed readings to long term monitoring of noise emission trends. AMR is able to provide site monitoring, modelling and consultancy services to identify potential noise sources and recommends the best practical engineering means to mitigate the noise issue.

Air, Water and Noise Modeling
Environmental impact assessment and risk analysis studies often rely on environmental pollution models that measure the emission of chemicals, or biological materials, which may cause discomfort, disease, or death to humans, damage other living organisms such as fish, or damage the natural environment or built environment. The models cover a broad range of scales that can be tailored to a single or multiple sites depending on the project objectives. With experienced technical team, AMR is able to provide modeling services that helps our clients to plan their projects well prior to its implementation to safeguard the environmental risks and proposed mitigation measures that will mostly affect their cost commitment needs.

Biomonitoring and Bioassay
Biomonitoring is the science of inferring the ecological of aquatic and terrestrial condition by examining the flora and fauna organisms. Aquatic biomonitoring assessments often focus on fish, invertebrates, planktons and macrophytes (aquatic plants) while terrestrial biomonitoring often focus on plant species, mammals, amphibians and insects. Bioassays are tests conducted onto organisms that are exposed to an environment to see if mutations or deaths occur. Typical organisms used in bioassays are fish, water fleas (Moina), and Chlorella. AMR provides such services that are tailored to our clients' needs and requirements.
